Under the auspices of H.E. the Minister of Trade and Industry, the Egyptian Organization for Standardization and Quality (EOS), in coordination with the Egyptian-American Chamber, will organize a Standards Conference on Tuesday 3rd of June, 2008. The Conference will be attended by an American delegation under the chairmanship of the President and CEO of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) along with H.E. the American Ambassador in Cairo.

During the Conference, a Memorandum of Understanding between EOS and ANSI will be signed. Moreover, the topic of harmonizing Egyptian and American standards will be discussed.
