His Excellency Eng.Rachid Mohamed Rachid, Minister of Trade and Industry inaugurates on Sunday morning 17th of June the Corporate International Laboratory (EOS-SGS) for testing Ready made garments and textile in the first partnership via (Public Private Partnership) in this field between the government and the private sector, The General Labs for Testing Ready made garments and Textile considered as the first EOS labs to start the application of the agreement followed by the rest of EOS labs according to specific time schedule for the required modernization and development needed for achieving the international requirements with the purpose of serving exporters and producers in other sectors whether they are chemical– food – engineering industries which aim to grant the European CE Mark for these commodities as they achieved their requirements .
On the other hand , H.E. Eng. Rachid will inaugurate also the beginning of availing the Egyptian Standards on the internet at EOS website in the framework of the ministry role to cope with the services of Electronic Commerce , the Egyptian Organization for Standardization and Quality(EOS) has availed and published its standards for sale on the internet on its website entitled www.eos.org.eg where the customers could be acquainted with the Egyptian Standards Catalogues in different sectors along with buying these standards electronically needles to buy it at EOS premises.
