First: Conditions of application for EQM |
|
To obtain the license to use EQM, the producer should submit an application to EOS for a licence attached with the following documents: |
|
1. |
A copy of the license issued by the licensing body for producing a certain product.
|

A copy of the registration certificate in the industrial register |
|
3. |
A copy of the working licence
|
|
4.
|
The engineering design of the product approved by the Industrial Designs Development Centre or a copy right from one of the international companies producing this product
|
|
5 |
A list indicating the available equipment for producing this product (detailed).
|
|
6. |
A list indicating the technical labour available to produce this product (detailed). |
|
7. |
An engineering design for the location indicating the equipment positions and the serial of the production operations. |
|
8. |
The available laboratory potentialities (equipment and tools)
|
|
|
The General Department for Quality verifies the accuracy of these documents and conducts technical studies for the establishment in respect of primary materials and raw materials used and their standards, industrial operations, means of control and inspection, follow up and quality control points. It also verifies the calibration certificate validity and undertakes as well the required testing and inspections. |

The procedures of applying for obtaining the EQM:

An application is submitted by the establishment to EOS attached by the required documents and an application study as well as informing the establishment with the required documents to complete it |
|
2. |
Paying a field visit to study the potentialities of the establishment and make a report on this |
|
3. |
Giving the establishment the EQM application license |
|
4. |
Studying the types after fulfilling them from the establishment. |
|
5. |
An approving prototype certificate (engineering department.) |
|
6. |
A preliminary inspection report . |
|
7. |
Performing product tests through periodical visits at the company and EOS . |
|
8.
|
Preparing a brief report to be submitted to the executive committee . |
| 9. |
Submission to the executive committee .
|
|
10. |
Notifying the company with the executive committee's approval. |
|
11. |
Determining the annual benefit right of the EQM. |
|
12. |
Making a contract of the annual benefit right of the EQM. |
|
13. |
Inspecting on the establishment and following up the adherence to the regulations and provisions of license. |
|
Third : The General Department for Quality should undertake the following after granting the EQM for the establishment: |
|
1. |
Verifying the adherence of the establishment with the conditions and provisions through which it was licensed for granting or fixing EQM. |
|
2. |
Verifying the adherence of the establishment with the conditions and provisions through which it was licensed for granting or fixing EQM. |
|
3. |
Verifying the validity of metrology certificates of testing equipment in the establishment. |
|
4. |
Reviewing the quality records of the company. |
|
5. |
Drawing some samples from the product obtaining the EQM and carrying out lab tests in or out the establishment's labs. |
|
6. |
In case of nonconformity, inspection and sampling are repeated to avoid the reasons for nonconformity. |
