Construction materials products lab
Where the products related to construction materials are tested i.e., cement with its types, bricks, cements tiles with its types, industrial gypsum with its types ……etc and other products related to construction.
Paper, stationery and ink products lab
Where paper products are tested i.e.,(writing paper ,printing paper, news paper, note books, carbon paper, cigarette paper, carton, pencils lead and copying, chalks,……etc) and other paper products.
Painting products lab
Where painting products are tested i.e., glossy and semi glossy synthetic paints, plastic emulsion paints, synthetic paints for undercoats,  ready mixed based priming paints, anti-fire paints ,anti-acids and alkaline paints , anti-corrosive paints ,anti-sea creatures paints , cellulose  sealer for wood ……etc and other painting products.
Furniture and wood products lab
Where products are tested i.e., natural wood, particle board, fiber hard board, ply wood, wood adhesives (white adhesive, animal adhesive, amino plastic and pheno plastic adhesives ….etc).
Glass and ceramics products lab
Where products are tested i.e.: ceramic tiles, porcelain table ware, glass table ware, glass jars….etc)
Leather and shoes products lab
Where products are tested i.e., shoes' upper leather, shoes' sole leather, compressed leather fibres,  furniture upholstery leather, cars upholstery leather, natural / artificial leather shoes ,sporting / military shoes, shoes adhesives,…etc.
Plastic and rubber products lab
Where products are tested i. e., inner tubes of cars' tyres, PVC pipes for drinking water, healthy deflation, black bags for residues, tooth brushes, melamine formaldehyde, urea formaldehyde, phenol formaldehyde, melamine tableware, painting brushes, rubber joint for water sealer, hoses of ordinary washing machines and children washing machines.
Petroleum materials and mineral oils lab
Where products are tested i.e.: household kerosine, cars' benzene, diesel engines fuels, lubricants, brake fluids, greases
Miscellaneous chemicals lab
Where products are tested i.e.: aromatic alcoholic solutions, organic solvents, acetone used in industrial purposes, talc for industrial purposes,  aluminium sulphate, formalin formaldehyde solution,  anti –perspirant deodorant, safety matches, liquid chlor , boiler water
Industrial detergents lab
Where products are tested i.e.: liquid /non liquid domestic industrial detergents, carpets' shampoo, lip sticks, optical brightener
Atomic absorption lab
It includes the following:
*  Atomic absorption system (AAS) to determine the toxic elements percentages (until one part per billion) inside food,            chemical and engineering substances (each test to determine one toxic element).
*  Induction couple plasma system (ICP) to determine the percentages of toxic elements (until one part per billion)           inside food, chemical, engineering and organic materials (to determine all toxic elements in one test)
*  Microwave system: To prepare the different samples
*  Infrared Rays system (IR): to determine the chemical composition of under test sample.
X-rays lab
It includes the following:
*  x- rays analysis lab (X-RF) for quantitative and qualitative analysis of all kinds of molds, liquids (oils…,), glass,           ceramics…etc  .
*   Optical eradiation analysis system (OE) for quantitative and qualitative analysis of molds whose main compounds are           iron, zinc, aluminum, copper and lead .
General Department for Testing Engineering Products
In addition to conducting inspections and tests on the engineering products and commodities whether mechanical, electrical, metallurgical or household appliances to verify their conformity to the relevant standards (Egyptian, International or Foreign) along with fulfilling the customer's requirements. These laboratories conduct inspections and tests on the prototype of engineering products aiming at obtaining quality and conformity marks.

Coefficient of friction, specific density dimensions and corrosion rates.
Electric Lamp Testing Lab
Fluorescent lamp, tungsten flement lamp, blugs lamp, ballasts electronic ballasts for tubular fluorescent lamps and other components (starter with a capacitor …etc).
The Electrical Household Appliances Testing Lab
Electrical household washing machine (normal electrical washing machine, electrical washing machine with heater, electrical full automatic washing machine), circulating electrical fans and its regulator, electrical sweeper, cleaning and water suction appliances and electrical heater disks.
Petroleum Household Appliances Testing Lab
Water heaters which are working with burning liquefied petroleum gases or pressurized natural gas, domestic cooking appliances for use with burning liquefied petroleum gases natural gases. Domestic stainless steel cooking containers pressurized kerosene stoves with tape and fuse, domestic aluminum ware formed in cold conditions along with performing other tests.

Ready Made Products Testing Lab
Underwear's for men, Underwear's for women, T- shirts, Children cloths, Socks ( men –children – women ) and other ready made cloths in which theoretical inspections on the sample are carried out in respect of the appearance aspect, textile defects, regularity of fabrics width, design and printing as well as selvage's regularity to be free from cleavage, clear and hidden defects and others. The submitted samples are tested in respect of the dimensional and measuring aspects, conducting chemical testing in respect of color fastness to (wash, perspiration, rubbing and light). Moreover, the shrinkage ratio of fabrics and tricot is determined by estimating the percentage of shrinkage in vertical lines and horizontal lines. Also, general tests on appearance are conducted through the general conditions that should be available in the sample according to the relevant standards in respect of finishing quality and reviewing data of size, manufacturing body, washing and ironing method and blend ratio in the product, if any.

Oil and Soap Products Testing Lab
Certain Products are tested in this lab such as vegetable oils prepared for food, vegetable ghee, margarine, shortening, tehena and essential oils. Moreover, all kinds of soap are tested ( washing soap – kitchen soap – toilet soap).
Carbon Hydrate Materials Testing Lab
Testing for all kinds of flour, macaroni, starch, honey, sugar, sugar candy, halawa tehenea, biscuits, chocolate, drinks, juices, jams, glucose syrup, fructose syrup and pop corn products are conducted.
Tobacco Products Testing Lab
In this lab, cigarettes, raw materials of tobacco, all kinds of meassel and tobacco are tested.
Fish and Meat Products Testing Lab
In this lab, meat and poultry products are tested (beef sausage – burger – pastrami –    luncheon – meat …ext) as well as fish products (fresh fish – canned fish – smoked fish – salted fish), edible gelatin, chicken and meat soup and animal feed.
Dairy Products Testing Lab
In this lab, dairy products are tested (cheese – milk ice – cream powder – natural cream – natural ghee)
Flavor Materials Testing Lab
In this lab, food additives materials are tested (flavorings – savor – natural and artificial coloring materials)
Beverages, Alcohol and Non Alcohol Drinks Testing Lab
In this lab, soft drinks and alcohol drinks are tested such as all types of wine and beer.
Miscellaneous Products Testing Lab
In this lab, miscellaneous products are tested such as (vinegar, salt, yeast and pickles … ext)
Micro – Biology Testing Lab
All bacteriological testing and inspections are conducted on different kinds of products including the detection of food born diseases.
Chromatography Testing Lab
